local schools celebrate music talent at district 6 jazz festival

The District 6 Jazz Festival featuring local Show Choirs and Jazz Bands will take place on Thursday, February 12th at Ellsworth High School.

The Festival features representatives from Bucksport High School, Connors Emerson, George Stevens, Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School, Ellsworth High School, MDI Elementary School, MDI High School, Tremont Elementary School, and Trenton Elementary School.

Admission is $10 per adult, $5.00 for student/child/seniors and $15 per family.

9:30 a.m. - EMS Players - Theater
9:30 a.m. - Bucksport Purple - Gym

10 a.m. - GSA Combo "Pavlov's Cats" - Gym
10:30 a.m. - Conners Emerson Show Stoppers - Theater
10:30 a.m. - Bucksport Gold - Gym
11:00 a.m. - Ellsworth High School Show Choir
11 :00 a.m. Bucksport Middle School Combo
11:30 a.m. - EHS Combo "The Custodians" - Gym
12 Noon - GSA Combo "Reptilicus" - Gym
