There are a lot of fun Halloween activities in the Greater Ellsworth Area this coming weekend, October 24-26.

Friday October 24

  • Beech Hill School - Trunk or Treat 5-6 p.m. Music, food, drinks, a pumpkin carving contest, photo booth and crafts. Come in costume. Bake sale proceeds benefit Class of 2026. 105 Otis Road, Otis
  • Trunk or Treat at the American Legion, Narraguagus Post 8 from 5:30 - 7 p.m.  Located at 49 Maine Street in Cherryfield.

Saturday October 25

  • Deer Isle Halloween Parade 10 to 10:45 a.m. - Begins at the Chase Emerson Library. Parade filled with costumes, candy and community fun!
  • Stonington Halloween Parade 11 to 11:45 a.m. Begins at Stonington Opera House. Parade filled with costumes, candy and community fun!
  • Coastline Homes Trunk or Treat Noon to 4 p.m.  8 US Highway Route 1 next to Jordan's Restaurant
  • Mill River Ranch - Free Halloween "Spooktacular" 2 - 8 p.m. Located at 8 Old County Road in Milbridge. There will be hayrides, haunted forest walk, Halloween crafts, animals in costumes and more! There will be apple cider pressing, face painting. Guests will need to sign a waiver at the Farm.
  • Bucksport Recreation Trunk or Treat 2-6 p.m. Will take place at the Bucksport High School back parking lot.
  • Trunk or Treat at Maine Coast Baptist Church 2-4 p.m. Located at 867 Bangor Road in Ellsworth
  • Free Showing of The Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers production of The Headless Horseman  4 p.m. at The Criterion 35 Cottage Street in Bar Harbor.
  • Tremont School - Trunk or Treat 4:30 to 6 pm. Held in the School Gym in Bass Harbor. Complimentary hot cocoa, popcorn and glow sticks! All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Nightmare on Film Street - Ellsworth High School Cross Country Trail behind the High School  6 -8 p.m. Proceeds to go to Heating Assistance for Local Families. Admission Adults $7.00, 17 and Under $5.00. Bring your Ellsworth High School  ID for free admission. Recommended for Ages 14+
  • Night Corn Maze at Kings Mountain 6 to 8:30 p.m. Located at 789 Center Drive in Orrington. Admission is $10.00 Don't forget to bring your flashlights!
  • Hancock Grammar School Haunter Trail 7-9 p.m. , 33 Cemetery Road, Hancock Admission Adults $10, Students $5.00

Sunday October 26

  • Little Blossom's Childcare Trunk or Treat 11-1. 443 Main Street in Ellsworth. Open to the Public, Face Painting, Games and a Fire Truck from the Sorrento Fire Department.
