Friends in Action Community Lunches

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for April 2025!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action are asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

Tuesday, April 1 - Three Cheese Ziti, French Roll, Green Beans, Pears and Dessert
Thursday April 3 - Parmesan Pork Chops, Dinner Roll, Mashed Potatoes, Cauliflower, Peaches and Dessert
Tuesday, April 8 - Chicken Piccata, Mozzarella Stuffed Breadstick, Broccoli, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
Thursday, April 10 - Italian Wedding Soup, Mixed Green Salad, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Pineapple and Dessert
Tuesday, April 15 - Chili Beef, Corn Bread, Roasted Potatoes, Honey Dew Melon and Dessert
Thursday, April 17 - Curry Chicken Breast, Dinner Roll, Yellow Rice, Mixed Veggies, Cinnamon Apple Sauce and Dessert
Tuesday, April 22 - Corn Chowder, Pasta Salad, Dinner Roll, Pears and Dessert
Thursday, April 24 - Meatballs in Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
Tuesday, April 29 - Cheeseburgers with Picked Red Onion, Arugula, Harissa Aioli with Cheddar and Cheesy Tater Tots, Pineapple and Dessert.
