Friends in Action Community Lunches – May 2026

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for May 2026!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's warm and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

• Tuesday, May 5th - Beef Taco Salad (Ground Beef, Lettuce, Tomato Cheese and Green Onions), Corn Chips, Applesauce and Dessert
• Thursday, May 7th - Southwestern Chicken Alfredo, Corn and Black Beans, Tropical Fruit Blend and Dessert
• Tuesday May 12th - Ground Beef Stroganoff with Egg Noodles, Mixed Veggies, Mandarin Oranges, Roll and Dessert
• Thursday May 14th - Meatballs with Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Pineapple and Dessert
• Tuesday, May 19th - BBQ Chicken Legs, Cheesy Tater Tots, Carrot, Cinnamon Pears and Dessert
• Thursday, May 21st - Chili, Cinnamon Roll, Mixed Salad, Grapes and Dessert
• Tuesday, May 26th - Southern Style Pork, White Rice, Green Beans, Peaches and Dessert
• Thursday, May 28th - Chicken Tenders with House Dipping Sauce, Garlic Parmesan Potatoes Broccoli, Pineapple and Dessert
