Friends and Family Market Sold

Ron and Launa Picard, who have been a part of the Ellsworth Business Community for seemingly forever, first with Larry's Pastry Shop and now with Friends and Family Market for the last 10 years have announced that they have sold the grocery store.

The Picards have sold the business and name "Friends and Family Market" to David Welch and his son Matthew who will manage the store. David Welch owns a market in Fairfield, Maine. The Picards last day as owners will be Tuesday, August, 29th.

You, the Friends and Family who have supported Ron and Launa, are invited to a Retirement Celebration this Friday, August 25th from 11 AM to 3 PM. Light refreshments will be served. You can also meet David and Matthew Welch, the new owners, as they will be there as well.
