Ellsworth Public Library’s Children’s Noon-Time New Year’s Balloon Drop [PHOTOS]

If you drove by the Ellsworth Public Library on Wednesday morning, you may have been surprised at the complete lack of available parking. That's because the Ellsworth Public Library was full of New Year's Eve revelers!

These weren't your normal party-goers! Most seemed under the age of 8! They were there to welcome in 2026 with a special noon-time balloon drop!

There were various crafts going on starting at 11 a.m. including the making of party hats, noisemakers and more!
