Ellsworth Christmas Tree Lighting 2018 [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

SK Whiting Park in Ellsworth was full on Saturday, November 24th for the 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The annual event has grown every year, and this year featured carolers from the cast of "A Musical Christmas Carol". Marc Blanchette, Chair of the Ellsworth City Council with the help of young Niles lit the tree.

Kim "Christmas" Fitch organized luminaries on the sidewalk to give the park a festive atmosphere. Wallace Tent brought the sound and red and green lighting and Flexit donated hot cocoa for everyone. Micki Sumpter the recently retired Economic Development Director kept everything moving along acting as Master of Ceremonies.
