Bucksport Girl’s Soccer Beats Washington Academy 7-0

The Bucksport Girl's Soccer Team beat the Washington Academy Raiders 7-0 on Tuesday, October 15th.

Bucksport started the scoring late into the 1st half with Haley Rose taking the ball the length of the field for an unassisted goal to start the game, with 10:42 left in the half.

Just 2 minutes later Ruby Pereira assisted Addison Goss's goal from outside the 18.

With only 3 minutes left in the half Addison Goss scored again on a penalty kick from a hand ball.

Bucksport led 3-0 at the end of the 1st Half.

Starting off the 2nd half Rowan Jergenson scored, assisted by Ruby Pereira for a goal at the 29th minute..\

At 9:43 into the second half Addison Harvey passed the ball to Addison Goss who shot into the back corner for the 5th goal of the game.

Chloe Bratcher assisted Addison Goss again for the 6th goal of the game at 14;51 and Chloe Bratcher ended the scoring for Bucksport at 13:10 with an assist from Haley Rose.

Bucksport played two goalies, Addison Fitch had 1 save on 1 shot. Brooke Elden had 2 saves on 4 shots. WA's goalie Jade Gardner had 10 saves on 29 shots.

Washington Academy is 0-12 on the year and will play against Houlton on Monday, October 21st at 4:30 p.m.

Bucksport is undefeated at 12-0. They are hosting Houlton on Wednesday, October 16th at 4 p.m.
