The #1 Bucksport Lady Bucks held off the upset minded #9 Winslow Black Raiders 11-10 on Thursday, June 11th in Bucksport in a Class C North Quarterfinal game.

Bucksport led 4-3 at the end of the 1st inning, but Winslow led 8-6 at the end of the 3rd inning. The game was tied 9-9 at the end of the 5th inning.

Marina Keene earned the win for Bucksport in the circle. She allowed 14 hits and 10 runs, 7 of them earned, while striking out 7. She didn't allow a walk

Grace Melvin took the loss for Winslow. She allowed 8 hits and 11 runs, 6 of shich were earned. She struck out 4 and walked 2.

Lexi Raymond was 2-4, including her 100th career hit for the Lady Golden Bucks Keene helped herself at the plate going 2-4 and driving in a run. Avery Robshaw was 2-3 with a pair of doubles, driving in 3 runs. Emma Clement was 1-4 with a triple and drove in 2 runs. Allie Hanscom was 1-3.

Bucksport stole 5 bases. Robshaw led the way swiping 2 bases while Harvey, Raymond and Keene each stole a base.

Madison Cochran was 4-4 batting leadoff for Winslow, with a pair of doubles. Adriana Lombardi was 2-4 with a double and drove in a run. Abigail Kiidlii was 3-4 with a pair of doubles and drove in 3 runs. Melvin was 1-4 with a run batted in. Prestyn Myatt blasted a 3-run homer. Kamryn Myatt was 2-4 and Emilee Feyler was 1-3

Winslow stole 2 bases with Kiidlii and Cochran each swiping a bag.

Winslow ends their season with a 8-9 record

Bucksport now 16-1  will take on #4 Narraguagus on Saturday, June 13th in Bucksport.
