As I was driving to Bar Harbor this morning, on WDEA they were talking about the fall of the Berlin Wall, 30 years ago today, November 9, 1989. It really was a momentous occasion.

The Berlin Wall was built in 1961, and stood for 28 years. And if you were alive at that time, who could forget President Reagan's speech calling for Mr. Gorbachev to tear down this wall
