There's a Winter Storm Watch in effect for Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties from Thursday morning through late Friday night.

As of Wednesday morning the National Weather Service is predicting heavy mixed precipitation with total snow accumulations for 2 to 4 inches and sleet accumulations of around three quarters of an inch and ice accumulation of around one tenth of an inch.

So with the threat of a winter storm, the first thing everyone is asking will we have school on Thursday?

Want to know if you should finish your homework? (You should) Want to know if you should study for that test or exam Thursday? (You should).

It's pretty simple. You enter your zip code, how many snow days you have already had, and then what kind of school you go to. Then the calculator figures out the probability that you won't have to go to school Thursday, January 16th! Pretty simple, but to insure you don't have school, I would still suggest going to bed with your pajamas on backwards!

Of course we will have all the snow cancellations and delays on our website.
