
Winter Storm Watch Is Now a Warning for Christmas Day
Rudolph better be leading the sleigh tonight for Santa Claus as he will be delivering toys to all the good girls and boys in a big snowstorm! Hopefully he might have a snowblower for Dad or a new plow!
The Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 2AM to 3PM Christmas Day for Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties with snowfall totals expected to be 5 to 8 inches.
The Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 3AM to 5 PM Christmas Day for Central Piscatquis, Central Penobscot, Southern Penobscot, Interior Hancock, Central Washington, Southern Piscataquis and Northern Washintgon Counties with snowfalls expected to be 8 to 11 inches.
The snowiest Christmas in Bangor was in 1938 when 9.2 inches of snow was observed.
