These crows have a lot to caw about, and we're going to have a lot to shovel if the forecast stays true! The winter storm watch that was issued has turned into a winter storm warning which is now in effect from 1 PM on Tuesday to Noon on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Caribou is now calling for snowfall of 12 to 18  inches of snow, and unfortunately this isn't going to be the light fluffy snow we had during the last major snowfall.

Winds will be out of the Northeast 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 miles per hour. The combination of the heavy snow and strong winds will create hazardous traveling conditions. The blowing and drifting snow will cause near whiteout conditions at times. There's also a possibility of power outages.
