Temperatures are expected to again top 50 degrees this weekend in Bangor and Downeast areas of Maine.

The National Weather Service is predicting a storm will arrive on Saturday, Dec. 14, bringing with it temperatures warm enough for primarily rain across the area.

Until that storm arrives, however, forecasters say high temperatures will be only in the mid-20s through the rest of the week.

And don't get too used to the balmy weather. Cold air is expected to return Sunday night, setting up a cold and windy Monday.
