8 p.m. Update - There are 15,019 Versant Power customers without power. Restoration efforts will continue through the night, but those still experiencing outages at 10 p.m. should plan to be without power through the night. More specific estimated restoration times will be shared Thursday, and repairs are expected to continue through the end of the week.

5 p.m. Update - There are 21.605 Versant Power customers without power. Restoration efforts are expected to continue through the night and, in some locations, into the end of the week

Strong winds are causing problems for Versant Power customers in their service territory on Wednesday, September 30th.

As of 12:32 p.m. there are 21,487 customers without power. In Downeast Maine there are high wind warnings in effect through 5 p.m.

Versant Power has positioned crews in the field and has extra Customer Service Representatives and other support staff on hand.

Please be sure to steer clear of any downed power lines and to give Versant Power linecrews as much room as possible as they work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
