Tropical Storm Watch In Effect for Coastal Downeast Maine

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Tropical Storm Watch for Coastal Downeast Maine beginning on Monday, August 3rd.

A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm force winds are possible within the area within the next 48 hours.

Downeast Coastal Maine can expect winds 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour. Isaias is expected to move into Maine Tuesday night into Wednesday morning

Rainfall is expected to be about 1 inch. No storm surge is expected.
