As a matter of fact, they haven't had a team since 2011.  This year, they have 10 girls on the team. The team includes one 8th grader, two 7th graders and seven 6th graders. Only four of the girls had played basketball before.

Yet, the Trenton Timberworlves -- coached by Peter Swanson and assisted by Samantha Farley -- will be playing in the championship game this Saturday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. at the MDI High School. The Timberwolves will be playing the Mount Desert Mustangs.
