Tree on a Line Causes Power Outage in Ellsworth Area

A tree on a line near the Ellsworth-Otis line has resulted in a power outage Downeast Maine, with a little over 2400 people without power Friday afternoon, September 6th.

Line crew from Emera are aware of the situation and are making repairs. It is anticipated that power will be restored around 3PM Friday afternoon.

Remember to steer clear of any downed wires and to move over to allow line crew to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible.
