Tonight’s the Last Night for Challenger Little League Registration

I have covered a lot, and I mean a lot of sporting events. There are two sports though, that have a special place in my heart... Unified Basketball and Challenger Little League. You can just feel the joy that participants feel when they play!

If you have a child that is interested in playing Challenger Little League in Ellsworth, tonight, Wednesday, July 28th is the last night for families to register. Drop in anytime between 5-7 p.m. to meet Todd and Kristy at Demyer 1 (First Field on the Boggy Brook Road).

Not only do players gain so much but so do their playing buddies! If you know of a high school student who needs volunteer hours, Challenger is a great and easy way to meet that requirement, but watch out, it will be kind of like the Grinch where your heart will grow 3-sizes.

Have a brother or sister that wont be playing but would like to help? They can come up with a job for everyone! They need many volunteers/Buddies to make this season a success!
