One of the best things about my job is that I broadcast high school games on WDEA. I was actually a decent athlete in high school, playing for our school's basketball, rugby, swim and volleyball teams. I even played for the Bermuda Under 17 Rugby team. But, that's been a long long time ago! I graduated high school in 1978, that's 37 years ago for us math challenged.

Unfortunately, I have had about 8 knee operations, and I haven't been as active as I should be. Plus my mind thinks I can do things I used to be able to do! So when Kid from the Z Morning Show challenged me to a game of Horse I said yes. Instead of playing Horse, we played Oh Hi! I voiced a Visioncare commercial that ran for about 3 years nonstop, and it started off with me saying Oh Hi! Kid has that clip on a "hot key" so it plays with just a push of a button. You've probably heard it a gazillion times if you listen to Z107.3

After almost coming back shooting free throws Rick Barry style, I fell O-H-H-I to O-H-H. I need to hit the basketball court before I get ready to challenge some of the Ellsworth Eagles and MDI Trojans in shooting free throws next fall!
