Temporary Water Service Disruptions in Ellsworth on Thursday April 24

If you live on the Surry Road, Westwood, Hillside, Mountain View Laurel Street and Maple Street in Ellsworth, you should plan on temporary water service disruptions on Thursday, April 24th.

The disruption is due to the water main replacement.

There may be temporary interruptions between 8 a.m. and 4 pm. The Ellsworth Water Department is advising you to take appropriate steps to store water for your anticipated needs during this time.

One the water is restored, you may experience some discoloration to your water. If that is the case, the Ellsworth Water Department recommends running your water until clear if it appears "dirty" or yellow.
