Saturday was a busy day for local high school singles tennis players, as they qualified for the State Tennis Tournament. Here are the qualifying results from the Bangor region.

The MDI Trojans Tennis Teams traveled to the Armstrong Tennis Center in Bangor to take on the Hampden Broncos on Wednesday afternoon, May 3rd. The MDI Boys won 5-0 while the Girls lost 1-4.

The MDI Girl's Tennis Team fell to the Hampden Academy Broncos 1-4 on Tuesday afternoon, May 2nd at the Ellsworth Tennis Center.

The MDI Boy's Tennis Team defeated Hampden Academy 5-0 on Monday, May 1st at the Ellsworth Tennis Center.

The MDI Boys Tennis Team beat Old Town 5-0 while the Girls Tennis team fell to the Coyotes 0-5 in Old Town on Saturday, April 29th.

The MDI Trojans Boys and Girls Tennis Teams traveled to Dover-Foxcroft to play the Foxcroft Academy Ponies for 2 matches on Friday, April 28th, with the MDI Boys splitting and the Girls losing 2 matches.
