The MDI Boys Soccer Team beat the George Stevens Eagles 2-1 in Bar Harbor on Wednesday, October 3rd, picking up a big Heal Point victory.

The Sumner Tigers Volleyball Team fell to George Stevens Academy Tuesday afternoon, September 4th at home losing 17-25, 25-27, and 12-25.

On a day more reminiscent of a late fall day, rather than a summer day, the MDI Golf Team fell to GSA 191-203 in a match played at Kebo Valley Golf Course on Friday, September 1st.

The Ellsworth Eagles and GSA Eagles Swim Teams competed in a dual meet on Tuesday, December 13th in Ellsworth, and the Ellsworth Girls defeated GSA 94-53 and the Ellsworth Boys defeated GSA 131-25. The George Stevens Academy Eagles defeated the Ellsworth Eagles 3-2 on Thursday, May 19th in Blue Hill in the Battle of Eagles.

In the Battle of Eagles, the George Stevens Eagles defeated Ellsworth 10-0 on Thursday, April 21st in Ellsworth. Ellsworth only managed 1 hit, that coming by Zack McGraw in the bottom of the 5th inning.

The Ellsworth Eagles Softball Team defeated George Stevens Academy 11-0 to start the 2015-16 season in Ellsworth on Thursday, April 21st.

Congratulations to the Drama Departments of  Ellsworth High School and MDI High School as they finished 1 and 2 in the One Act Play competition held at MDI High School on Friday and Saturday March 4-5.  Rounding out the Top 5  were 1. Ellsworth 2. MDI 3. Deer Isle-Stonington, 4. Bucksport and 5. Searsport. Ellsworth and MDI will be competing in the State Class B Championship which will be held at

The Ellsworth Eagles handed the George Stevens Academy Eagles their lone loss of the season on Tuesday night, February 2nd, defeating GSA 60-58 on Senior Night at Katsiaficas Gymnasium. It avenged Ellsworth's earlier loss to GSA, when GSA beat Ellsworth 52-47 on January 4th.
