Trojans Double Up GSA Eagles 2-1

The MDI Boys Soccer Team beat the George Stevens Eagles 2-1 in Bar Harbor on Wednesday, October 3rd, picking up a big Heal Point victory.

MDI jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the end of the 1st Half, as Shane Bonilla scored with an assist from Oliver Johnston at the 24:23 mark.

GSA tied the score with 24:07 remaining in the game, when David Gadsby scored.

MDI scored on a penalty kick by Ben Hulbert with 12:56 remaining in the game to give the Trojans the win.

Nate Philbrook was in goal for MDI.

MDI now 4-5-1 will play host to the Mount View Mustangs on Saturday, October 6th at 1PM.

GSA 7-4-0 plays at Deer Isle-Stonington on Wednesday, October 10th at 4PM.
