Sumner Girls Fall to GSA 58-35

The Sumner Girls Basketball Team fell to George Stevens Academy 58-35 on Friday night, December 21st in Blue Hill.

GSA jumped out to a 17-5 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. The Eagles led the Tigers 25-15 at the end of the 1st Half. At the end of the 3rd Quarter GSA led 37-24.

Sumner had 2 girls in doulbe figures led by Skylar Soule with 15 points and Macy Lane with 11 points. Lane had 3 3's and Soule had 1 3-pointer. Sumner was 7-12 from the free throw line.

GSA was led by Julianna Aleen with a game high 19 points. Evelyn Dagan had 12 points. Allen had a 3-pointers. The Eagles were 11-28 from the free throw line.

Sumner is 0-4 and will play host to Calais on Thursday, December 27th at 6:30

GSA is 1-4 and plays host to Mattanawcook Academy on Thursday, December 27th at 5PM.
