Sumner Girls Drop Opener to Central 50-33

The Sumner Girls Basketball Team dropped their opening game of the 2018-19 season, losing to the Central Red Devils in East Corinth, Friday night, December 7th.

The game was close in the 1st Quarter, with Central leading 9-6, but then Central outscored the Tigers17-8 in the 2nd Quarter to take a 26-14 lead. It was 36-24 after 3 quarters.

Sumner was led by Raquel Barnes with 10 points while Skylar Soule had 8 poings. the Tigers were 5-19 from the free throw line.
