Sumner Boys Beat Bangor Christian 5-1

The Sumner Boys Soccer Team improved to 10-1 on the season with a 5-1 victory over the Bangor Christian Patriots in East Sullivan on Friday, October 5th.

Caelan Billings had three goals and an assist to lead the Tiger attack. Eduardo Figueroa and Orlando Herrera also scored goals. Figueroa and Damon Warren added assists for the Tigers.

Scoring for Bangor Christian was Tyler Lehman.

Patriots goalkeepers Seth Jones and Adam Groski combined for 20 saves on 29 shots. Alex Rumill was in net for Sumner and made 2 saves on 4 shots for the Tigers.

Sumner, 10-1 will play at Calais on Monday October 8th at 11AM.

Bangor Christian 4-6-1 will play host to Penocscot Christian on Monday, October 8th at 4PM
