Seminar on Effective Strategies for Working with Children with Anxiety-Related and Oppositional Behaviors [VIDEO]
If you work with, or are a parent of a child struggling with mental health issues, you will want to mark Saturday, September 16th on your calendar as the Mount Desert Island Regional School System and the Southwest Harbor Medical Center Clinic Committee are bringing Jessica Minahan, author of "The Behavior Code: A Practical Guide to Understanding and Teaching the Most Challenging Students" for a free seminar.
Minahan will be presenting to teachers, counselors and physicians from 8 AM to 12 Noon on Saturday, September 16th at MDI High School Auditorium, and then from 2 PM to 4 PM for parents. Childcare will be proivided during the parent presentation.
