There will be a FREE Narcan Training in Bar Harbor on Tuesday, February 27th at 11 a.m. and Thursday, February 29th at 6 p.m.

Both sessions will last approximately a hour and take place at the YWCA. The YWCA is located at 36 Mount Desert Street.

These trainings are sponsored by the Bar Harbor Fire Department and will be conducted by Deputy Chief John Lennon.

In the training participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the reversal drug, Narcan.

Participants will receive free Narcan kits. This training is in person and no registration is necessary. Please call 207-288-5008 with any questions.
