Rotarians will be at the Ellsworth Hannaford this Saturday, November 16th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. collecting food for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. They will be accepting  goods and monetary donations to help those in need in Hancock County.

The Rotary Club of Ellsworth hopes you will help them with their Ton of Turkey Challenge. They are asking for your help to donate a Ton of Turkeys to the Loaves and Fishes. They figure that 134 frozen turkeys will equal 2000 pounds, aka 1 ton. In lieu of a turkey, 2 chicken or a ham will count! They may be brought to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry during their operating hours - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

If you can't drop off a turkey in person, you can donate $20.00 and it will count as 1 turkey. Donations may be mailed to the Rotary Club of Ellsworth, PO Box 741, Ellsworth Maine, 04605
