Red Sox Beat Northeastern 9-6 [PHOTOS]

The Boston Red Sox opened up their Spring Training schedule with a 9-6 victory over the Northeastern University Huskies at Jet Blue Park at Fenway South in Lee County, Florida on Thursday, February 23rd.

The Red Sox play their first Spring Training game against a major league team on Friday, February 24th when they play the New York Mets. Our pregame starts at 1 PM with the first pitch here on AM 1370 WDEA.

The Red Sox are expected to use 7 pitchers on Friday, including LHP Henry Owens who will get the start followed by RHP Kyle Kendrick, LHP Fernando Abad, RHP Noe Ramirez, LHP Robby Scott, RHP Brandon Workman and RHP Kyle Martin.
