Emera Maine's line crews have reduced the number of customers without power by a little over 20,000 in 5 hours on Sunday, but  as of 5PM there were still a little over 11,000 Emera Maine customers without power. Emera Maine is continuing to work to restore power, but those customers without power as of 10PM on Sunday, should prepare to be without power until Monday, November 5th.

In a press release, Emera said their crews were continuing to make repairs to bring the largest number of customers back online first, working toward smaller outages and more remote locations. As part of the damage assessment and repair process, Emera Maine has compiled a list of towns where crews will be working Monday. Although crews will continue to work through the evening, customers who have not had service restored by 10PM. Sunday should plan to be without power until Monday. If you need shelter or other resources, please call 211 for assistance.

Remember to stay away from downed lines or trees where lines are entangled. Always assume that a line is energized and steer clear!
