Power Outage Update Thanksgiving Day

5:05 PM UPDATE - 3666 Emera Maine Customers are without power. Emera Maine crews are making repairs on electrical circuits with the largest number of customer outages as heavy, wet snow and winds interrupted service. Although damage is still being assessed, 90% of affected customers should be reconnected by 10 p.m. tonight and crews will continue working through the night to restore service to all.

11:45 AM  UPDATE- 5402 Emera Maine customers are without power on Thanksgiving Day. If you have not yet called in your outage, or see a downed line, please call Emera at (207) 973-2000 or 1-855-EMERA11 (1-855-363-7211)

As of 7AM there were 4689 customers without power. Emera Maine did state that they had put extra line and tree crews on standby  in anticipation of the weather and that their storm team would continue to assess conditions and work to ensure a safely, timely restoration of service for customers.
