We are in Day 4 since almost 88,000 Emera Maine customers lost power on October 30th thanks to hurricane force winds that buffeted Maine, the most since the Ice Storm of 1998. As of Thursday night, November 2nd at 7 PM there were 19,659 without power.

Northern Penobscot (Milo, Lincoln, Millinocket) & Piscataquis (Dover/Sebec)
Power is expected to be restored to 90% of customers impacted by 10 PM Thursday (11/2), with almost all remaining customers restored by end of day Friday.

Southern Penobscot (Greater Bangor, Orono/Old Town) & Hancock County
Power is expected to be restored to 90%of customers impacted by 10 PM Friday (11/3), with almost all remaining customers restored by end of day Saturday.

Restoration to locations in remote areas, seasonal camps, or places with damage on private lines may extend into next week.

Emera Maine's linemen and contracted crews are working HERE. In Hancock County crews are working in the following towns - Amherst, Aurora, Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Cora, Deere Isle, Eastbrook, Ellsworth, Gouldsboro, Great Pond, Hancock, Mariaville, Mount Desert, Newbury Neck, Otis, Prospect Harbor, Sorrento, Sullivan, Surry, Swans Island, Waltham, Winter Harbor
