The Foxcroft Academy Ponies beat the MDI Trojans' Girls Soccer Team, picking up their first win in almost 4 years on Monday, September 14th in Dover-Foxcroft.

The score was 1-1 at the end of the 1st Half, and in the 2nd Half, the Ponies outscored MDI 3-1.

Ally Bender and Opal Curless had the goals for MDI and Curless assisted on Bender's goal.

For Foxcroft Academy Jenna Clukey had a goal and two assists. Grace Francis had a goal and an assist. Grace Bickford and Abby Simpson each found the back of the net for the Ponies.

Julianna Cleaves was in goal for MDI and had 11 saves on 17 shots, while Kiara Prescot was in net for the Ponies and recorded 12 saves on 17 shots.

MDI is now 3-1 and will play at Washington Academy on Wednesday, September 16th at 4 PM and then at Hermon on September 19th at 1 PM.

Foxcroft Academy is 1-3. They play host to Dexter on Wednesday, September 15th at 4 PM and then to PCHS on Saturday the 19th at 10 AM.
