Ellsworth 2-1 Over Foxcroft

The Ellsworth Eagles defeated the Foxcroft Ponies 2-1 on Wednesday night, October 28th at Del Luce Stadium in the Class B Eastern Maine Quarterfinals. Ellsworth will now host Waterville, Saturday afternoon October 31st at 1 PM, in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and WDEA Internet Radio.

Foxcroft Academy took a 1-0 with 26:48 left in the 1st Half when Dylan Harmon Weeks converted a penalty kick, that Ellsworth goalie Bruce St. Peter partially deflected but couldn't keep out of the goal.

Ellsworth tied the score with 24:26 remaining in the half, when Colby Clark scored with an assist from Dagin Berenyi.

Ellsworth took the lead for good with 8 seconds remaining in the 1st half, when Alex Braley scored, off a Lukas Firestone flip throw.
