Planned Water Service Disruption in Parts of Ellsworth on Tuesday May 13

There will be a planned water service disruption for parts of Ellsworth on Tuesday, May 13th.

The water service disruption will affect homes and businesses in the following area

• Surry Road
• Court Street
• Maple Street
• Laurel Drive
• Westwood Drive
• Springhouse Lane
• Hillside Drive
• Mountain View Deive
• Black House Drive
• Edaco Court.

There may be periods of no-water between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.  The Ellsworth Water Department informs us that the interruption will be as brief as possible.

You'll want to take appropriate steps to store water for your anticipated needs during this time and you may not want to run the dishwasher or washing machine during this time.

Once water is restored, you may experience some discoloration to your water. The Ellsworth Water Department recommends running your water until clear if it appears dirty or yellow.
