The SPCA of Hancock County is a nice place, but Jemma has been there for 8 months! It's time for the Queen Bee to find her "fur-ever" home!

Jemma is a 60 pound Pittie mix with a gorgeous tiger-striped brindle coat and has been in foster care since life in the shelter with all those other animals and people was too much for her nerves, but she’s been a doll for her foster family. She loves her toys and her people! She’s good on a leash and is house trained, and she’s only 3 years old. This nervous but loving girl just needs an adult-only household that will let her be an only pet, and she promises to fill that home with love and joy.

Call the SPCA shelter at (207) 667-8088 to schedule a meeting, or just drop by!

The SPCA of Hancock County is a no-kill facility, and currently has many cats and dogs available for adoption. It’s located at 141 Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. It’s open Wednesdays through Sundays between 11 AM – 5 PM. Donations are always accepted. They will take your returnable bottles as a donation, so please drop them off!

Email them at info@spcahancockcounty.org. Follow them on Facebook and check out the website, too.
