Old Town Girls Beat Ellsworth 55-46 in Overtime [STATS]

The Old Town Girls outscored Ellsworth 13-4 in overtime to beat the Eagles 55-46 at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth on Friday night, December 27th.

Old Town led 12-7 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 20-16 at the end of the 1st Half. The Coyotes led 31-28 at the end of the 3rd Quarter. The game was tied 42-42 at the end of regulation.

Ellsworth was without Abby Radel, Lily Bean and Sydney Mason.

The Eagles were led by Elizabeth Boles with 12 points, including a 3-pointer. Austyn Atherton had 9 points with a 3-pointer. Addison Atherton had 8 points. Cam Clugh had 2  3-pointers for 6 points. The Eagles were 12-25 from the free throw line.

Old Town had 3 players in double figures. Karina Dumond had 19 points, including 3 points in overtime. Taylor Loring had 16 points, including 6 points in overtime. Taylor Madden had 14 points. Madden had 2 3-pointers. The Coyotes were 17-30 from the free throw line.

Ellsworth is now 4-2. The Eagles will host Houlton on Monday, December 30th at 6 p.m.

Old Town is now 3-4. They will host Hermon on Friday, January 3rd at 7 p.m.
