MDI Ultimate Frisbee Team Wins a Pair of 13-2 Games

In Game 1 the Gooses played some solid zone defense, had sharp cuts, and great flow as a team working the disc up the field. In the second game against Gray-New Gloucester, they had tons of fun. Gray-New Gloucester is our favorite team to play, since they always bring such good spirit onto the field, and both teams just play for the joy of the game. At the end of each Ultimate Frisbee game, it is customary to do a cheer for the other team, and also give a “Spirit Award” to the member of the other team who we collectively agree had the best spirit or the best performance during the game. Today the other team gave the spirit award to our player Owen Carroll.
