Northern Light Maine Coast and Blue Hill Hospitals to Restrict Visitors Effective Monday September 13

Effective Monday, September 13th, Northern Light Maine Coast and Blue Hill Hospitals will restrict visitors and implement a no-visitor policy because of the rising COVID cases in Hancock County.

Exceptions will be made in end-of-life, obstetrics, emergency, and pediatric instances. Please contact the department or practice with specific questions.

In a press release, Kristin Cyr, the Vice President of Nursing and Patient Care Services said

“While we know that this may be difficult for patients and their loved ones, we feel it is critical to limit hospital visitation for the safety of our patients, staff, and community. Our hospitals are committed to keeping everyone safe.”
