Northeast Harbor won’t be a small sleepy town on Saturday, December 6th with the Northeast Harbor Christmas Festival, a day full of activities highlighted by Santa’s arrival at the Marina aboard the Sunbeam between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m.

The activities include

Frosty 5K - Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Neighborhood House. Walkers begin at 9 a.m.  children begin at 9:15 and the run starts at 9:30 a.m.

Holiday Card Making and Holiday Storytime - 10 a.m. to 12:30  at the Northeast Harbor Library

Christmas Crafts for Kids - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mount Desert Nursery School, 15 Tracy Street

Santa's Workshop - 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Neighborhood House. Children can bring canned goods or non-perishable food items for the food pantry then shop and wrap up to 4 gifts with a personal shopper

Open House and Crafts for Kids -1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Maine Seacoast Mission, 6 Old Firehouse Lane

Santa and Mrs. Claus Arrive on the Maine Sea Coast Mission's Subbeam at 3:15- 3:30 p.m. at the Marina

Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus - On the porch of Carter Real Estate from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m.

Carol Singing, Gingerbread House Contest, S'Mores and More from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. at FT Brown Hardware, 106 Main Street

Frosty Photo Stand in at Rising Tide Park from 3:35 to 5:30 p.m.

Italian Dinner at 5 p.m. followed by Clusterfunk and Company Concert 6p.m. at The Neighborhood House, 1 Kimball Road . This is to benefit the MDI High School Italy Trip in 2026 Tickets are $15.00 for the dinner and $10 for the concert. There is a Dinner/Concert Combo Ticket for $20 and Children under 12 are $5.00.
