Ellsworth will be the place to be late Saturday afternoon, December 6th for the Annual Ellsworth Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting.

The Parade steps off at 4 p.m. and will travel down from the Moore Community Center/Knowlton Park down State Street, across School Street, onto Main Street to the lower light and returning up State Street to the Middle School/Mill Mall area.

Then there will be the Tree Lighting and activities in the City Hall Parking Lot. These include

  • Santa arrives to light the Christmas Tree at approximately 5:30 pm, as the Parade is ending
  • Live performance by The Crown Vics, starting at 6 pm
  • Community bonfire
  • S’mores station
  • Holiday activity tables for all ages
  • A festive and lively downtown atmosphere

At the Ellsworth Public Library, children will be able to write letters to Santa, and complete 2 holiday crafts from 5 to 7 p.m.
