Miriam is the SPCA of Hancock County’s Pet of the Week
Do you have any room in your home and heart for Miriam? She is the SPCA of Hancock County's Pet of the Week.
Miriam is known as the “The Snaggletooth Sweetheart”!
According the to the SPCA of Hancock County
Miriam is the kindest, most gentle senior lady with all the love in the world to give. She is our go-to dog to bring to events and public outings because she has a perfect temperament with everyone… cats, dogs, kids, adults - you name it, she loves it! She will make an incredible companion, or even a perfect pet to bring into the office with you! She’s also a decorated champ; at her most recent event she won awards for Best Costume, Judge’s Favorite, and Best Pup! Looking into her sweet, gentle eyes, you would never know that she is the survivor of a horrific state seizure situation. Since being in our care, Miriam has gained about 15 pounds and is finally at a healthy weight, which she was more than happy to help gain. Miri loves snacks, treats, meal times, and anything else to do with food. Speaking of food, Miriam is on a prescription diet of Hill’s c/d urinary care. Don’t let that scare you! It can be easily purchased at most vet offices or ordered online from retailers like Chewy. Miriam is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and has had a full senior blood panel and urinalysis run. Most importantly, Miriam is truly the sweetest, gentlest, most loving gal who deserves the most beautiful landing spot for her senior years.
