
Mindy Wulf Named New Executive Director of SPCA of Hancock County
The SPCA of Hancock County has announced that Mindy Wulf has been named the Executive Director.
She has previously served as the SPCA's shelter manager and volunteer coordinator.
Wulf said "I am delighted to be the new Executive Director of the SPCA. In my past roles I have experience with strategic planning, staff and volunteer management and budget administration. This position will (allow) me to use my strengths from my education and previous work experience and combine that with my passion for animal welfare."
Wulf work form more than 20 years as director of the Chesapeake Bay Field Programs at the Calvert Marine Museum in Maryland. She had previously worked at the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
Michelle Alvin the SPCA Board President said "It is with great pleasure we announce the hiring of our new Executive Director, Mindy Wulf. Her 20 plus years in the non-profit world will be a great asset to the Shelter as we advance our mission and create a future where every animal in Hancock County is safe, cared for and loved. The Board of Directors is looking forward to working with Mindy to improve the sustainability of the shelter for generations to come.
