Midweek Storm

Mother Nature is threatening to play havoc with the basketball games scheduled for Wednesday, as there is a storm expected Tuesday into Wednesday, with a mixture of snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain.

As of Monday morning, snow is expected for Downeast Maine beginning Tuesday afternoon with 1 to 3 inches expected. Tuesday night the National Weather Service is calling for continued snow with lows in the mid 20's and then after midnight there will be freezing rain, sleet and rain. Wednesday morning it will be mostly cloudy with rain and freezing rain warming up into the mid 40's.
