The MDI Trojans Girls Soccer Team took the long bus ride up to Caribou on Saturday, September 18th to play the Caribou Vikings, and came up a little short-handed, losing 3-1.

There was no score until just over midway in the 1st Half, when Libby Collier gave the Vikings a 1-0 lead, with 17:05 remaining in the 1st Half.

The score remained 1-0 until early in the 2nd half, when Hannah St. Amand scored the equalizer, with 4:45 gone, with Aleksandra Hanley being credited with the assist.

With 26 minutes left in the game, Caribou took the 2-1 lead with Gabrielle Sutherland scoring the go-ahead goal.

Caribou added an insurance goal with 5:11 left, with the goal being credited to Vivinene Prashaw

MDI is now 0-4. They are scheduled to play Old Town at home on Saturday, September 25th.

Caribou is 1-2-1 and is scheduled to play at Hermon on Wednesday, September 22nd.
