MDI Softball with a 6-0 Win Over Old Town Saturday [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans Softball Team picked up a huge victory over the Old Town Coyotes in Old Town on a sun-kissed Saturday afternoon, May 15th 6-0.

Addie Boyce was brilliant in the circle for the Trojans, pitching a complete game and holding Old Town to just 1 hit, while striking out 7 and walking 1.

Grace Horner hit her 1st career home run in the 7th inning, finishing the afternoon 2-4 with 2 runs driven in.

Addie Boyce helped her own cause, going 2-4, driving in 3 run.

Lily James had a single and scored 3 runs.

Mollie Gray had a single and stole 2 bases.

MDI is now 6-3 and will play at the Union Street Complex in Bangor against John Bapst on Tuesday, May 18th at 6 p.m.

Old Town, 8-2, plays at Orono on Tuesday, May 18th.
