Ellsworth Softball Nips MDI 3-2 [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Eagles jumped out to a 3-0 lead and hung on to nip the MDI Trojans 3-2 at Ellsworth High School on a beautiful afternoon, Thursday, May 13th.

Tyler Hellum was in the circle for Ellsworth pitching a complete game for the win. She struck out 5, walked 1 and hit 1 batter. She allowed 7 hits.

Addy Boyce was in the circle for MDI and pitched a complete game for the tough luck loss. She struck out 6 and walked 2. She allowed 8 hits.
