Ellsworth Softball Beats Hermon 11-3 [PHOTOS]

The Ellsworth Eagles grounded the Hermon Hawks 11-3 on a chilly Saturday afternoon in Ellsworth, as Ellsworth's batters stroked 15 hits in the game.

Alicia Havey was 3-4, just a home run short of a cycle, as she singled, doubled and tripled. She scored 3 times and drove in a run.

Casey Carter was 3-4 with 3 singles. Annabelle Hackett was also 3-4 with 3 singles.

Kayla Duhaime and Lexi Rossi each had 2 singles.

Morgan Duhaime had a double and Sara Shea had a single.

In the circle for Ellsworth Tyler Hellum threw a complete game, striking out 8 and walking just 1

Charlotte Caron hit a home run for Hermon. Payton Estey had a double. Faith Coombs, Grace Kelly, Veronica Chichetto and Ainsley Carr all singled.

Lyndsee Reed was in the circle for the Hawks, striking out 3 and walking 1. She hit a batter.

Ellsworth is now 6-1, having won 6 games in a row, since losing their opening game of the season 3-2 to Old Town. They will play host to MDI on Tuesday, May 11th at 5 p.m.

Hermon is 2-3 and plays at John Bapst on Monday, May 10th.
